This excursion will allow you in just over half a day to visit the Etna Park without neglecting any aspect. The tour is structured like excursion 1 (Etna recommended) with the addition of a visit to the Alcantara Gorges, where it is possible to observe the columnar basalts of the river, the flora and fauna of the rain. Participants on this tour are recommended to bring a bathing suit as it is possible to take a dip in the freezing waters of the river.
PLEASE NOTE: this tour is best recommended for those who do not have their own means of transport, as the Alcantara gorges are easily accessible. For those who have their own car, tour 1 (Etna recommended) with our jeeps is always recommended and our guides to then reach the gorges in the afternoon to enjoy some relaxation after the excursion in complete autonomy. Reservations are recommended 2 days in advance.

The goal, through themed lessons, is to deepen the knowledge on fauna, flora, volcanology and the ancient peasant and popular artisan traditions of past and present life that takes place around the volcano.
Etna in miniature offers 3000 square meters of enclosed park in complete safety with native species of flora and fauna, even with plants and animals present only at high altitudes (over 50 species of stuffed animals); a museum with a detailed display of the household objects of the past and with the ancient artisan and peasant tools; an olive press and a grape mill rebuilt at the end of the 19th century where it is possible from 25 September to 10 October, on request, in addition to the trip along the route, to carry out the harvest with the traditional ancient systems; depending on the period and the seasons it is possible to harvest the various seasonal fruits (chestnuts, hazelnuts, apples, etc.); a water mill; a zoo of live animals with donkeys and various types of carts; There is an equipped area inside the park where you can have a packed lunch and many other attractions.
Etna in miniature also offers the possibility of doing individually or combining an excursion to Piano Provenzana Etna Nord to visit the lava theater of the last eruption and / or the nature path of the lateral volcanoes together with a lava flow cave, to observe the greatness of nature. The excursions are suitable for all ages and are directed by a specialized guide and a botanical guide. It is also possible to visit the largest pine in Etna called “zappinazzu” and the road of the woodcutters where you can see the engravings in the trunks of the pines, used in ancient times for the extraction of resin. All excursions will be carried out in total safety and with the help of first aid health personnel.
